about

My professional background.

My name is Lucas Monème. Trained in manual therapies at the TCMA school in Geneva, and holding an advanced degree in anatomy, physiology, and pathologies (basic medicine). My background is enriched by studies in psychology (University of Geneva, 2020-2023).

I have completed training in complementary therapies, all provided by Swiss institutions approved and recognized by the health authorities. With a wealth of varied professional experience, care and kindness are at the heart of my practice. I am also a massage therapist for the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Kilbi Festival.

My approach.

My therapeutic approach is centered on listening and personalizing care, within an ethical and caring framework. I practice this profession with a sincere commitment to well-being and helping relationships. A sense of ethics is important to me, as is creating a safe, non-judgmental space that is adapted to your physical and emotional needs.

I believe that therapeutic touch is a fundamental human need, and I consider care to be a dialogue, where my role is to listen to what your body has to say and gently and precisely guide it toward its own balance, in a calm and serene atmosphere.

Methodology.

Technically, I favor a slow, enveloping, and repetitive touch, which allows for a detailed reading of the tissues and their tensions. I do not use forced joint manipulations or pain as a tool.

During our initial consultation (medical history), we will work together to define your expectations and identify the areas to be treated and those to be preserved. Your consent and comfort are the absolute basis of my work.
